Consultancy Work

M/s Comsat Systems Pvt Ltd has offered a consultancy project to Mechanical Engineering Department for machining of Antenna wave components namely Turnstile Junction, Low pass filter, E Plane bend, Straight wave guide and C-band OMT. The work includes modeling of components through Reverse Engineering, design and fabrication of required fixtures, procurement of special tools, generation of CNC code through Master Cam software and finally manufacturing the components through CNC-milling machine and turning center. Worth of the consultancy is 5.0 lakhs.

The work is completed within the scheduled time and components are handed over to M/s Comsat Systems Pvt Ltd in a function organized on 2/01/2020 at Mechanical Engineering Department. Chairman, Advisor, Principal, Vice Principal, Director from CVRCE, Mr. John Saripally Managing Director and his associates from CSPL graced the occasion. Mr. Srinivas Goud (technician), Mr. Srinivas reddy (Machinist) and Mr. T. Venkatesh, Asst Prof are involved in the activity under the guidance of Dr. M. Venkata Ramana Prof & HoD. Mechanical Engineering Department records its gratitude to Prof. CH. V. R. S. Gopala Krishna, ECE Dept and Prof. Vishwanath of ECE dept for their valuable guidance. Department is thankful to Principal Madam, Chairman and Advisor for their constant encouragement.
